What happened to G Suite?

G Suite became Google Workspace. The collaboration products are more compact and the offerings have become more tailored to needs.

Can I migrate files from my current storage solution to Google Drive?

Yes, you can use our migration tools and services to move your organization's critical data from your current storage solutions to Google Workspace.

How much storage do I get with Google Drive?

In Business Starter, each user has a storage quota of 30 GB, which can be used for Google Drive and Gmail. With Business Standard, each user gets 2 TB of storage, and in Business Plus you benefit from 5 TB of storage per user. You can upload any file format to Google Drive and convert certain file types to a format compatible with Docs, Spreadsheets or Presentations.

Google Meet

Can external users participate in a video call?

Of course they do. You simply share the same link for all participants.

Do I need to install new software?

If you use one of the supported browsers for Meet - Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge - you don't need to install any plug-ins or additional software. This also minimizes the attack surface, and users' computers don't need to be constantly updated with security patches. On mobile devices, you need the Google Meet app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Are third-party services required for access via dial-in number?

No. In Google Workspace, you can simply add a phone number and PIN to any video conference - without any additional configuration.

Google Sheets

What features does Google Spreadsheets support?

Google Spreadsheets supports more than 400 spreadsheet functions that let you create formulas to process data, calculate numbers, and generate strings. You even have the option to create your own functions with Apps Script.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts in Google Spreadsheets?

Yes, several keyboard shortcuts are available and always activated for Google Spreadsheets. You can also activate compatible combinations that you are used to from Microsoft Office.

Can I convert tables in another format to Google Spreadsheets format?

Yes, you can import many different file types into Google Spreadsheets format, for example XLSX, CSV or TXT. The original file will be preserved. Conversely, data can also be exported from Google Spreadsheets to various file types.

Google Forms

Do I need a Google account to fill out a form?

No. Anyone can fill out Google forms.

Can I specify that a confidential form is only accessible to my company's employees?

Yes, with Google Forms sharing settings, you can easily control which people can view and edit your forms.

Can I process many responses with Google Forms?

Yes. Google Forms can handle as much data as Google Spreadsheets; currently that's 2 million data cells. That's a large amount of data.

What are the advantages of the paid version of Gmail?

The paid version of Gmail includes custom email addresses (@yourexampleurl.com), unlimited group email addresses, 99.9% guaranteed uptime, twice the storage of private Gmail, no ads, round-the-clock support, Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook, and more.

Can a user have multiple email addresses?

Yes. A user can have additional email addresses besides their primary address, which must be created for them in the form of email aliases. You can add up to 30 email aliases for each user.

Can I migrate my existing emails to G Suite?

Yes, there are several migration tools for Google Workspace that allow you to import your email from environments such as Microsoft®, IBM® Notes®, and other email systems.

Google Calendar

Can I create a group calendar?

Yes, you can create a calendar that all employees or only certain users in your company can access. For example, you can create a group calendar for important dates – such as vacation days for individual team members or regular meetings.

Can I migrate and sync all my calendars?

Google Chat is free for Google Workspace and G Suite customers and can be used immediately.

Are there appointment reminders in Google Calendar?

Yes, by default Google Calendar displays a pop-up reminder 10 minutes before an appointment. You can customize these reminder times via the calendar settings.
